Ahhhh Sunday

I'm looking outside, and it's so beautiful. That's not how the day started - and not how the weekend was at all. It POURED rain Saturday - yuck. This morning, we woke up to drizzle and rain showers. FINALLY - around 5:00, the clouds broke up and the sun started to peak out. Now, it's a beautiful golden color and all the reds in the sumac bushes and the golds from the grass and greens from the trees really is a beautiful sight.

We had a nice day. Church was really nice. Cate is at AWE with all the other pint sized people in there. And Lexi ... well, anywhere she goes she enjoys. Particularly in a classroom setting. It actually takes us ab out five minutes to convince here that yes, we'll be back next week :).

So ... tomorrow is the start to a new school week, new work week, a fresh week in general. We are a not quite two weeks to Lexi's big day. We have a jump house rented and other things planned. Actually - I've got to get my ducks in a row this week. We have another birthday party to go to for one of Lexi's friend this coming Saturday, so this Saturday is out for running around. SO - Miss Cate and I will do our running this week. :)

That's it for me - there are cookies in the oven - oatmeal rasin :) - the gloomy cold day just called for something warm and tasty and yummy smelling.
