This morning, I called to register Lexi for Kindergarten at the Enfield Station School. I hung up, went to tell Lexi the exciting news, and found a rather large lump in my throat and honestly, tears in my eyes. Excitement, anticipation and a tad bit of sadness in this Mommy's heart as I'm facing the big day next year, when she takes her first steps as a true big kid down the road to the class of 2020. **sniff** **sniff**
Of course, when I was able to get the words out of my mouth, the excitement on Lexi's face and voice healed all wounds :)
