Most people get up, perhaps flip on the radio or TV, enjoy a cup of coffee .... what did we do this morning? Rescue a kitten from the roof of our barn. SERIOUSLY.
When Jay went outside this morning to leave for work, he couldn't help notice a strange shadow on the ground - that was running back and forth - it had a long tail that was pointing up in the air - and low and behold, it was "Hissy", an area kitten we have quasi adopted, up HIGH, on our barn. Yep.
Now mind you, we are lacking in the area of ladders - we've yet to purchase one that will reach the edge of the barn - we have a loft ladder for the barn loft - and that's what Jay used after stopping by our neighbors to see if his shed was open (it wasn't - he's on vacation).
ANYWAY - long story short - Hissy is safe, yes, Jay used the loft ladder that was about 3 feet shy of the barn's roof line - both escaped without a scratch (pun intended) :).
Now .... where's the coffee?!
