Our thermometer read 93 today. May 10 - NINETY THREE DEGREES. Now mind you, we live in NORTH CENTRAL Maine. Not the norm. I've heard of snow storms in June .... so I guess nothing is the 'norm' here :).Today, the girls and I got ready early, and headed down to Bangor to run errands ... with a brief stop at McDonald's for lunch (shhhhh) :). We headed home to unpack our groceries - especially the ice cream :). I was pleased to notice that our house wasn't stifling hot - but actually quite comfortable - AND - both Cate and Lexi had fallen asleep to leave me with about sixty minutes of free time to myself :) - virtually unheard of in this house - but I'm not complaining!! :)
I promised Lexi she could play in her pool when we got home. Daddy connected the hose and filled it and we played outside until 7:30. It was a beautiful day and wonderful evening. Here are a few snapshots :) :
