We have had 'countdowns' on our calendar since October:
October - Lexi's Birthday
November - Cate's first Birthday
November - Trip to Atlanta
December - Christmas
Our next countdown -
January 16th - LEXI RETURNS TO SCHOOL!!!! :)
PLEASE don't get me wrong - I LOVE having Lexi home with me - but she is getting bored, and rightfully so. So - this countdown is for me :) 14 days and counting :)
Ice, Ice and more ice. That is what we experienced this weekend. A whole lot of yuck - and ishy slippery roads. Thankfully we had a mostly sunny day and the roads have had a chance to mellow out a bit. This has been a strange winter. Winters have been very mild since our move here - not much at all like Minnesota - it's much more mild and less snow here.
My next countdown after Lexi goes back to school? - how many months until I can get my hands in the yard and start gardening again - NO WAIT - the countdown to June - when my parents come out for a visit!!! :) - no wait -- here's one for today - how many MINUTES until the girls go to bed?! :)
